Welcome to AIWA Los Angeles

The AIWA-LA Affiliate was founded in 1995 by five dedicated women (Elizabeth Agbabian, Flora Dunaians, Hermine Janoyan, Jasmine Mgrdichian, and Savey Tufenkian) who had the foresight and the vision to bring AIWA and its concerns to Los Angeles. AIWA-LA has enjoyed tremendous progress and growth with speaking programs, scholarships for women and support for the arts and culture.  AIWA-LA continues to provide programs and assistance to Armenian women to become leaders and problem solvers and become powerful influences in the lives of women in Armenia and abroad.
